OLUMS™ is a sophisticated database driven online management system that manages and tracks all aspects of work integrated learning.

All information within the system can be used to produce real time executive reports. The platform can manage and track learnerships, apprenticeships, internships, service learning, and employee skills training within the Organizing Framework of
Occupations (OFO) categories.

The system integrates with the University or FET College’s Management Information System’s
database to track all students from the time they first enter an institution until graduation. This
includes:

  • Tracking the academic progress of students
  • Tracking of students who are ready to be placed with Employers
  • Managing and tracking the student placement process
  • Tracking the Industry Mentoring process
  • Tracking all Work Integrated Learning assessments
  • Tracking and Managing of the online Student Portfolios
